Roadshow
A roadshow is the series of meetings in which a company's leadership and its advisors present a transaction to investors or buyers, often across multiple cities or sessions.
Roadshows are common in capital raises and competitive sales, where the same core story is delivered repeatedly. Each session builds on the management presentation, tuned for the audience in the room, while the advisor manages logistics, feedback, and momentum across the schedule.
The digital equivalent has grown up alongside the physical one — permissioned microsites and virtual deal rooms let advisors extend a roadshow's reach without diluting control. For private equity firms fundraising, the roadshow and the IR site increasingly work as one system, telling a single coherent institutional story.
