Management presentation
A management presentation is the session — and the deck behind it — where a target company's leadership presents the business directly to serious buyers during a sale process.
Once buyers have read the CIM and cleared diligence gates, the management presentation is where they meet the people running the company. The deck reframes the written story for a live audience, and its polish sends a signal about how the business is run. It typically precedes access to the full deal room.
In a roadshow or competitive auction, the same core presentation is delivered repeatedly to different buyers, so consistency and clarity compound. For M&A advisors, coaching management on this material — and making sure the visuals match the caliber of the pitchbook — is part of running a credible process.
