IR site (Investor relations site)

An IR site is the web presence a firm or company maintains for investors, carrying performance reporting, governance disclosures, and current fund or fundraising information.

For a fund manager, the IR site is where limited partners and prospective investors go for the institutional story: strategy, team, track record, and access to reporting. It often sits alongside a gated LP portal that holds capital-account statements and quarterly letters behind authentication.

The bar for these sites is set by disclosure expectations, not design trends, and getting the requirements right is its own discipline — see IR website requirements. For private equity firms, the public IR surface and the private portal have to feel like one coherent system, which is why investor relations work is rarely just a marketing project.
