Confidentiality-first design
Confidentiality-first design is an approach to deal materials and web environments that treats access control, anonymization, and disclosure discipline as the starting constraint rather than an afterthought.
In deal-making, the default assumption is that most information is sensitive. Confidentiality-first design bakes that in: a teaser reveals nothing that identifies the company, a CIM microsite gates every page behind an NDA, and a deal room logs who saw what. Design decisions follow from what may be shown, to whom, and when.
This is the mindset that separates deal-native web work from generic marketing sites. It runs through investment bank digital due diligence and shapes how we build for investment banks: the interface should make the safe path the easy path, so the discipline holds up under deal pressure.
